Love

Her eyes were dark onyx

a sepulcher

I treaded into blindly

caught in the web she spun

on her golden spindle

consuming from the inside

creating a dry socket

filling it with cotton candy

Lesson learned writing Poetry

The febrile writer

stands within walls

struggles with words

lobbed like boulders

his attempts futile

trying to look the part

without living the part

writing the words

not reading those words

lost in his own fear

of being cast out

exposing hypocrisy

Red

Red lips

Tasting

Biting

Consuming

Red Apple

Juices Flow

Blood Red Toenails

Peak out

From Sandals

Temptation

As I kiss her

Her bite draws blood

Hand holds the red rose

Thorns pierce white flesh

Blood flows

A river of pain

No one to understand

Crushed under

Meaningless lust

Buried under the purple-red bruises

Red eyes filled with tears

The red sun sets

A fiery end
