Late Summer

Satin sheets
lace curtains
soft breeze
across bodies
goose pimples
rise
on naked skin
heated
afternoons
drowning
in memories
that arise
with every breath

Teach

Teach me to pray,
show me the path
leading to light
hold my hand
grip me tight
as I grow old
as the fog
enfolds my world
seeking quietude
from the anger
and the pain
spinning about.

Red

Red lips

Tasting

Biting

Consuming

Red Apple

Juices Flow

Blood Red Toenails

Peak out

From Sandals

Temptation

As I kiss her

Her bite draws blood

Hand holds the red rose

Thorns pierce white flesh

Blood flows

A river of pain

No one to understand

Crushed under

Meaningless lust

Buried under the purple-red bruises

Red eyes filled with tears

The red sun sets

A fiery end
